If you want a quick energy hit then these cinnamon donut energy balls are perfect.
Great for a snack at any time of the day. Before or after the gym, for breakfast on the go, or any time you need a sweet boost of energy.
These tasty cinnamon donut energy balls are so easy to make and will keep in the fridge for about a week, or you can store them in the freezer for several months.
Ingredients:
Makes 10 balls
Dry Ingredients
2 tbsps maca powder
5 tbsps almond meal
2 tsps cinnamon powder
2 tsps monk fruit sweetener, optional
Wet Ingredients
4 tbsps almond butter
2 tsps vanilla extract
1 tbsp coconut water or regular water
Directions:
Place all of the dry ingredients into a small bowl and stir to combine.
Add all of the liquid ingredients to the bowl.
Use your hands to mix everything together and form a dough ball. Knead it for a minute or so and roll into 10 small balls.
Store in the fridge for about 1 week, or keep in the freezer for several months.
