What is cardamon powder and what is it’s purpose? I don’t think I can get it around where I live. Can I just leave it out or sub it with something else?

It is an indian spice. You can get it from most asian stores, health food stores and some larger grocery stores. Otherwise try online. You can leave it out if you wish but it does add a lovely flavor.

If you don’t eat it all can you keep the extra in the freezer and use it later? Will you have to do anything to it to keep it from getting too hard if you do?

Yes, you can put it in the freezer. Just let it thaw for 10 minutes so that it softens and is ready to eat again 🙂
