CRUSTY HOME MADE VEGAN BREAD
In this video I show you how to make this easy no knead rustic bread recipe for delicious crusty homemade bread that tastes great! Best of all this is a no knead dough recipe – quick, easy and delicious… the way I like to cook 🙂 This is a simple and tasty vegan bread recipe that I like to make to go with soup or stews… or with some jam for a dessert toasty!

  1. For this recipe you will need a large mixing bowl and an oven tray lined with baking paper.
  2. First up, put the flour, salt and yeast in your mixing bowl and mix well.
  3. Next, add your water and gently stir through using the handle of your mixing spoon. When the mixture is thoroughly combined pull the edges toward the middle (see video), then cover the bowl ( I used a shower cap, but a tea towel would do) and let the mixture rise for at least one hour in a warm draft free area.
  4. Once the dough has risen switch your oven on to 210 degrees C or 420 degrees F. The dough will need to be pulled from the edges of the mixing bowl now so that you can work it into a loaf.
  5. Turn the dough out onto your baking paper covered tray and then decorate the loaf with your favourite toppings. I used some oats and a little dry flour. Then let the dough sit for another 20 minutes or until your oven is nice and hot.
  6. Once the oven is hot cook the bread for 20-30 minutes until it reaches your preferred crustiness and color!
  7. Serve the bread with your favourite condiments or your next meal – YUMM!
