Some curry sauces take hours of preparation and cooking to achieve their flavour. This curry sauce recipe is just the opposite. Perfect for those week nights where you come home tired and worn out.
Simply throw the ingredients in a blender, then cook for 5 minutes, combine with whatever frozen veggies, left overs etc that you have in the fridge, and Voila, you have created a tasty wonder that the family will rave about!
Easy 5 minute Curry Sauce
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Orange Juice
- 1/8 tsp Cayenne Pepper
- 1 tsp Celtic Sea Salt
- 1/2 tsp White Pepper
- 2 tbsp Curry Powder
- 1 tbsp Coconut Sugar
- 1/2 tsp All Spice or Star Anise
- 3 tbsp Corn Flour
- 1/2 cup Tomato Paste
- 1 cup Vegetable Stock
- 2/3 cup Apple Juice I used Organic Cloudy Apple Juice

Instructions
- Before you begin you will need a blender, medium sized saucepan and mixing spoon.
- First up, add all sauce ingredients into your blender and combine till smooth.
- Next, pour the mixture into your saucepan and bring to a medium simmer whilst constantly stirring. Now drop the heat to a low simmer and allow the sauce to thicken up to your desired consistency.
- And that's it! The sauce can now be served with roasted or fried potatoes, over steamed vegetables, as a dipping sauce or even as a base for a curry as shown in the video!
