I tried this recipe right away and it turned out great!!! I used sesame instead of flax (didnΒ΄t have any at home) plus some rosemary! Thanks for the recipe π
Fantastic π
I made them today with brown flaxseeds (all I had in the pantry). I cooked them for a lot longer to get them crispy and they are fantastic! Great easy recipe. Makes my transition to eating vegan so much easier. Thank you Anja, I’m very grateful for this website.
So glad you are liking the recipes Anna π
Do u use ground flaxseed meal or whole flaxseeds? Thanks
I use the whole flax seeds as per what I mentioned in the video. I like the crunch in the crackers, but I know they don’t digest whole, so if you prefer you can grind them up. Or even do half half.
Sorry Anna. I watched your video after I wrote you the comment re the flaxseeds being whole or ground. I see from the video you left them whole for the crunch. Question answered. Thanks…

Looks simple and tasty! Do you have any idea what GF flour could be used successfully in this recipe?
Maybe try a combination of brown rice flour and chickpea flour.
thanks for this recipe.. i wanted to make them for my guru, as he is vegan.. its good, although seems to be better with a dip, which i couldnt make.. but useful for future.. π
thanks
Glad you like the recipe π x
You are so nice (sympathisch)! Just wanted to mention that:) Good night (or whatever the time is in Australia) and greetings from Germany (Dortmund) π
Vielen Dan Jana π Alles liebe und gute aus Australien x
This is my favourite cracker recipe. Sometimes I cook them just as they are and other times I have mixed in cumin seeds or caraway seeds, rosemary, thyme, all sorts of different combinations.
So glad you like it as much as I do π
Good morning Anja. Last night I made these crackers. Mine came out darker. I think my flax seeds were dark. I ground some and saved a few for texture and crunch. Mine arenβt as pretty as yours but they are tasty. Even more tasty the next day! I will make them again and maybe add some savory herbs. I enjoy duplicating your recipes! My husbandβs favorite is the creamy salad dressing. Your suggestions have added so much variety to my plant based journey! Thank you so much.
