This delicious Japanese Matcha Rice is quick to make, tastes great and will be on the table in 15 minutes! This is perfect as a side for other Japanese delights such as Rice Paper Rolls. YUM!
Japanese Matcha Infused Rice
Ingredients
- 1 cup medium grain white rice rinsed well
- 1/8 tsp ginger powder
- 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1-2 tsps Matcha Powder to taste
- 2 tbsp Soy Sauce
- 2 cups water
- 1 tbs black sesame seeds optional, to serve

Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a large microwavable bowl and stir through. OR, place in a pot and cook on the stove-top as per packet instructions.
- Cook the rice in a microwave for 15 minutes or until done to your liking.
- Give the rice a stir through before serving to fluff it up, and serve topped with sesame seeds if you wish.
