Make your own Salad in a jar.
Ingredients
- 1-2 tbsp Salad Dressing Can be store bought or home made, best if it's vinegar based for longevity.
- 1/4 cup Red Bell Pepper (Capsicum) Cut in strips
- 1/2 cup Chickpeas pre cooked
- 1/4 cup Carrot Shredded
- 1/4 cup Red Onion Sliced

Instructions
- Find your self a largish jar with lid of around 750ml - 1L (1 - 2 pints)
- Add your salad dressing to the jar first.
- Now gradually layer the ingredients keeping the order from above to ensure the soft greens and onion are not touching the dressing.
- Once the jar is full, close the lid and store in the fridge. You will be amazed how long the salad will stay fresh. I often make a weeks worth of salad on a Sunday afternoon so I have quick snacks during the week.
