Ingredients

Instructions
  1. Add all of the ingredients to a bowl and mix together until it is evenly coated and mixed together.
  2. Cover bowl and place in refrigerator for at least one hour, or overnight.
  3. Serve your breakfast mushrooms with toast, baked sweet potato, pancakes, savory french toast etc
Recipe Notes

You can also add spinach or kale into this mixture to get some extra greens in for the start of your day 🙂

    Thank you for sharing this recipe, Anja! Tried it and loved the taste a lot, but I found the mushrooms (Portobello) extremely soggy. Would you have any idea how to avoid that part? I never soak or wash my mushrooms in general, only wipe them with damp towel. Thank you on advance, Ella

      So glad you like the recipe. Try marinating for less time if you prefer a more firm texture.

    Thank you for this recipe. I marinated the mushrooms for about an hour and then I used them to stuff pita pockets. They were delicious.
