Quick Date Banana Breakfast Porridge Smoothie

This is a quick and easy breakfast porridge smoothie recipe  if you are in a hurry. It only takes a couple of minutes to make and will give you loads of nutrients and fiber to get you through the morning.
Just blend and pour… and breakfast is served.
Note: You can use a dairy free milk instead of water to make it extra creamy… add cinnamon for extra kick… and add in maple syrup if you want it even sweeter 🙂

Date Banana Smoothie Porridge
Ingredients
  • 10 whole Medjool Dates Pitted
  • 1 whole Banana Ripe
  • 1/2 cup Oats
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract I used vanilla powder in this video, but I prefer liquid vanilla extract
  • 1 litre water depending on how thick you prefer your smoothies

Instructions
  1. Put all the ingredients in a blender and blend for approximately 1 minute or until smooth and creamy. Super fast, health, easy and surprisingly filling for a busy morning schedule!

    Hi Anja – This sounds so yummy I’ll be trying this out this morning. But for some reason when I click on the video, it’s for your curry sauce recipe and not the breakfast porridge smoothie.
