My friend Bina shows me how to make turmeric milk latte – vegan style! This is based on a traditional indian recipe and is the best golden milk ever! So simple and tasty – and all the health benefits of turmeric! Great for building your immune system, fighting off coughs and colds and a great anti-inflammatory for those with arthritis etc Enjoy!
Turmeric Latte aka Golden Milk!
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup Plant Milk (I used organic soy milk)
- 1 thumb size piece Fresh turmeric, grated
- 1/2 tsp Cardamon Powder
- 1/4 tsp Ginger
- 1/4 tsp Nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp Cinnamon
- 1-2 pinches Ground cloves optional
- 1 tsp Raw Sugar or any sweetener of your choice
Servings: Cup

Instructions
- Place all of the ingredients into a small saucepan.
- Stir to combine.
- Warm the mixture over low to medium heat for about 5 minutes until the mixture becomes aromatic and thickens slightly.
- Serve as is and chew on the turmeric pieces as you drink your drink... or strain for a smooth and silky texture.

You can but it won’t be as smooth. Try 1 tsp.
