Vegan Pouring Cream

This vegan pouring cream is so delicious and smooth you won’t believe it doesn’t have any dairy! It’s perfect as a pouring cream for desserts and is also great as a coffee creamer!

Ingredients
  • 250 mL Plant Milk Any plant milk of your choice, I used unsweetened soy milk
  • 1/4-1/2 tsp Xanthan Gum See notes at bottom of recipe
Servings: cup Units:
Instructions
  1. Pour plant milk of choice into blender, add small portion of xanthan gum (you can always add more later if it needs to be thicker, but you don't want to add too much).
  2. Blend for a few seconds to mix and it's ready to serve!

Any plant milk will work (preferably unsweetened). For coffee creamer, use coconut milk and add a small amount of sugar.

    I’ll bet this would be terrific with Hazelnut milk and a small amount of sweetener for coffee. I’ve only just become aware of the properties of Xanthan gum and I’m really interested in trying it out. thanks for this!

    Can you make up a batch of this and keep it in the refrigerator for like a week at a time (coffee creamer) or do you need to make it fresh each time you need to use it? Thank you

    Hi Anja
    I’m trying to cook more vegetables but unfortunately I need to eat meat,my body finds problems to assume iron. Sometime I need a drew from hospital.
    Next week I’m going to see a specialist, but I just wonder if you have very simple receipts with a lot iron .
