I do enjoy watching your video’s. May I make a suggestion? Could you use a plastic or rubber utensil when scraping ingredients out of your dish? It’s painful on the ears.
Hi Marie, thanks for your feedback 🙂
Hi Anja, I am another who loves your videos, and the noise doesn’t bother me vat all. Anyway. I love this recipe, but, I can’t eat Paprika due to allergies, so anything veg or fruit that relates to the Paprika family. However as stupid as this sounds, I can eat Chilli’s. What can I substitute for the Smoked Paprika please, any suggestions? I’m not sure which email address I gave you when I joined your community, so I will put the new address below as it’s my main email addy, and perhaps you can change my address at your convenience…
Many thanks for your fantastic site, it’s the only one I use these days….

You could possibly use a bit of chilli powder or maybe some cumin powder if you like the taste of it. Even some liquid smoke might be a nice addition 🙂
I had this recipe bookmarked for well over a year but never got around to making it until today. Now I regret that as it is foolproof, quick and absolutely delicious! No idea how close the taste comes to actual steak tartare, but for a quick healthy vegan spread this is an absolute winner. My suggestion: serve it on raw fennel. Will be making this many times to come, and will explore your site for more good stuff. Cheers!
