Now you can make your very own vegan almond yogurt at home. No special pro-biotics and only a couple of ingredients – it doesn’t get any easier than this recipe.
The hardest part is waiting for this yogurt to ferment!
If you love non-dairy vegan almond yogurt, then you will love this recipe.
So let’s get to it…
Ingredients:
1 cup blanched almonds*
1 cup filtered water or coconut water
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 tsps – 1 tbsp white miso paste
Directions:
* Soak the almonds in some filtered water overnight, rinse them off and pop them out of their skin.
Place all ingredients into a blender.
Blend until smooth and creamy pouring consistency (see video at top of page for visual instructions).
Pour into a bowl or glass jar and lightly cover with cheesecloth or a nut milk bag at room temperature for about 8 hours. Perfect to leave overnight.
Place into an air tight container or jar and store in the fridge. I keep mine for up 10 days.
Enjoy!
