Let’s get into the recipe for Vegan Oil Free Garlic Bread – aka Miso Crusted Garlic Bread! Enjoy…
Ingredients:
1 tbsp white miso paste
2 cloves minced garlic
1 tbsp tahini, optional
water or vegetable broth for thinning out
bread, bread rolls or bread stick of choice
optional toppings: smoked paprika, chilli flakes, dried italian herbs, curry powder etc
Directions:
Place miso, garlic and tahini in a small bowl and mash together like you would garlic and butter for traditional garlic bread.
If the mixture is too thick or you want to thin it out to make it go further, add a splash of water, lemon juice or vegetable broth to thin it out a bit and make it easier to spread.
Place the spread either on top of bread rolls that have been cut in half or slice a breadstick and put the spread on that. Watch the video at the top of the page for full visual instructions.
Place on a baking tray and bake in a preheated oven at 190C/390F for about 10 minutes or until it reaches your desired level of crispiness.
Alternatively bake in the air fryer at 180C/360F for about 5 minutes.
