These vegan savory oats are so cheezy and delicious. They are easy to make and will leave you with no excuses to not have a healthy start to your day. I love having these vegan savory oats for breakfast at least once a week. They are super creamy and such a comforting start to the day.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup plant based milk (I used soy)
1/2 – 3/4 cup water
1 tbsp nutritional yeast flakes
1 tbsp flax meal
1 tsp dried italian herbs
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp turmeric
freshly ground black pepper
chilli flakes to taste
1 cup mixed vegetables (eg chopped kale, spinach, mushrooms, bell peppers etc)
Directions:
Mix all of the ingredients in a breakfast bowl and cook in microwave (or in a pot on stove top if you do not want to use a microwave).
I microwave for 1 – 2 minutes, stir through again, then microwave again for another 1 – 2 minutes until creamy and hot.
